Sacred Plant Medicine Retreat Package:
San Pedro Ceremony + Group Sharing: Healing work begins with a full-day San Pedro ceremony at the opening of the retreat. San Pedro, also named Huachuma, is a cactus that has been used as a sacred plant medicine for more than 3,000 years in its spiritual home of the Peruvian Andes. Expertly guided by Huachamero Bernhard Karshagen, the ceremony is a reunion with ourselves, Mother Nature, and the Divine. It is a medicinal mirror that can help us see where we hold onto self-limiting beliefs and patterns in our lives and gently guides us toward releasing that which no longer serves us. Our San Pedro ceremony is a powerful initiation into the retreat - one that sets the tone for the days to come, assisting you to connect with your heart and find clarity around your intentions leading into the Ayahuasca ceremonies.
Four Ayahuasca Healing Ceremonies: Led by Maestro Gumercindo Galindo, this core ceremonial work occurs across four intensive Ayahuasca ceremonies at twilight. Maestro Gumercindo comes from an ancient and powerful lineage of Amazonian Shamanism called Palero Curanderismo. He creates a robust and powerful experience, balanced by joyful energy and medicine songs on guitar and drums. The closing ceremony includes a family of facilitators and musicians who help guide participants back from their Ayahuasca journey through soft, soulful music, creating an effective container for healing and an experience simply like no other.
Sacred Valley Guided Tours: During our 10 days together, we will journey through the Andean towns and sacred ruins of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. We will also provide the option to visit Machu Picchu at the end of the retreat, with guidance on how to travel by train and booking information for the luxurious hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Restorative Body Work: The plant medicine ceremonies can take a toll on our bodies. We provide deep relaxation massage throughout the duration of the retreat to soften and nourish the body. We only work with trusted massage therapists who understand plant medicine work and who let the experience guide their touch.
Cleansing Flower Baths: Plant baths play a supportive role within the healing process. The plant medicine ceremonies activate and bring to the surface energies and emotions that have been collected across a lifetime and stored within the body. Plant baths help us to cleanse and strengthen the external body.
Gentle Yoga: Clear the mind, invoke a state of focus, and revitalise the body with soft, restorative, and meditative yoga on days when a gentle practice is necessary.
Nourishing Ayahuasca Meals: Expert Chef Julian, who comes from the remote Q’ero community – one of the last Andean communities to be reached by the Europeans, prepares meals with love and creative flair. The Q’ero tradition and ancient Q’ero healing practices are still intact today. Fresh local ingredients and Ayahuasca-friendly dishes nourish us throughout the retreat. The menu is primarily vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free, and some meals will include locally caught trout or chicken. All allergies and special diets can be accomodated.
Healing Music + Song: Our Maestro and facilitators are all talented musicians who understand the beauty and magic of music as a medicine. Throughout the entire retreat, our Ceremonies involve the use of powerful medicine songs, also called icaros, accompanied by guitar and drums. The music speaks to the heart and stays with us long after the experience.

Gume creates powerfully spiritual experiences with plant medicine, incorporating joy, love, and song, having started his apprenticeship in his early teenage years. Undergoing the thorough and profound training of an amazonian shaman, he has gained very strong connection with the Plant Medicines and Spirits. He will support you in clearing old energies and patterns to help facilitate tremendous change in your life.
